At FileIO, your privacy is not just a feature. It's our foundation. We've built every tool with zero-knowledge principles. Your data is processed locally in your browser or transferred peer-to-peer. We literally cannot see what you're doing.

File & Text Transfer
All file and text transfers are peer-to-peer with end-to-end encryption. Nothing passes through our servers.

Cookies
We use only two cookies: tp_lang (your language preference) and tp_theme (your theme preference). No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand basic usage patterns. No personal data is collected. We do not use Google Analytics or any fingerprinting technology.
Third-Party Services
We may display ads via Google AdSense in the future. Google's advertising cookies are governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out via your browser settings or our cookie management page.
Data Retention
We retain no user data. Transfer sessions are ephemeral. Clipboard rooms auto-expire after 24 hours. QR codes are generated locally and never stored on our servers.
